Lincoln has a registered nurse/clinic aide on duty during school hours. If students are sick, they should request to go to the clinic. Parents will be notified by the clinic in case of serious illness or injury, and arrangements will be made for students to be picked up or sent to a hospital. Only minor first aid services are available in the clinic. The clinic will monitor medication administration and maintain documentation for clinical records. The nurses/aides will continue to collaborate with the Marion County Health Department in implementing vision and hearing screening.
